Jupiter, GRS and Ganymede Occultation

New images of Jupiter are always news-worthy, and this is no exception. I received an interesting link on the ALPO_Jupiter yahoo group the other day – it’s a pretty fascinating animation showing Ganymede being occulted by Jupiter.

Here’s a still from the movie:

Read on to see the animation and to see one of my own images taken just a couple of hours later after the Hubble image above!

New Equipment Page

Hi all

You may have noticed by now, I’ve created a new Equipment page in the menu above, which lists my Planetary Imaging and Deep Space Imaging Equipment. I haven’t yet added my Terrestrial Photography equipment but will be doing so very soon.

Please feel free to contact me or comment in the articles if you have any questions about the equipment, or how I use it.

Thanks
