Abandoned

I was in Adelaide for work for a few days, and looking at the forecast it was going to be clear. The Moon was also at a great phase for nightscapes, so I took my tripod, camera and widefield lens with me and arrange to meet a friend from IceInSpace who chauffeured me around, taking me up into the Adelaide Hills so I could shoot some night sky scenes.

We found this great old abandoned shed in one of the valleys not far from his house.

The night sky shows the Southern Cross, Carina, the Large and Small Magellanic clouds, and I was lucky enough to capture a meteor flare to the right.
