It’s been over 2 weeks since my last update – I’ve been very busy during June with work – flying up and down the East Coast of Australia doing some Social Media Seminars for RP Data – showing Real Estate Agents how to use Social Media for their business.
It’s meant that I haven’t been able to get to the dojo to train normally – so this June challenge came at the right time. It’s kept me motivated and kept me doing some fitness during the time I can’t do my normal training.
It hasn’t been that easy though – some days I really needed to motivate myself and I’ve done it a few times at 11pm at night in a hotel room. I’m writing this from a hotel room in Melbourne at 10pm, having just done my exercises for the day 🙂
Other times I’ve been sick, or travelling, and there’s been a few “zero” days when I’ve done nothing.
But overall I’m really enjoying it. I’m hoping it’s going to be habit forming – after 30 days of doing it, it should be ingrained enough to continue doing it when June is over. I’m also keen to do some new and different challenges during July – such as sit-ups, or squat kicks, etc.
Anyway, here’s my progress with only a few days to go.
As you can see, I’ve already done enough pushups, and will finish my slow kicks and plank in the next day or two. I’m continuing to do them all at once, rather than split the daily routine in half or have lots of break time between them.
I hope someone else may enjoy reading this some time in the future, and hopefully motivate them to achieve their own goals.
Thanks for reading.
