Last weekend, my friend Andrew and I spent a night at Coonabarabran and then a night at Narrabri shooting nightscapes. It was an amazing weekend and I’ll go into more detail in future posts. You can read about the planning here.
Here’s one to start us off! I’m off to WA for 2 weeks so won’t be able to post much, but hopefully will be capturing some more great images!
Now for this image – Sunset? Nope – the setting Moon at 2am on Sunday morning, captured at the ATCA at Narrabri.
The 25s exposure with a 70mm lens certainly produced some streaks in the stars, and I did take some shorter exposures but this longer exposure gave the best light on the foreground and the dish.
Canon 6D, 24-70mm lens @ 70mm, ISO1600, f/2.8, 25s exposure.
