Somersby Falls – August 2014
My wife and I headed to Somersby Falls last weekend, to capture the falls after some reasonably heavy rain during the week.
Rather than spend too much time on the frequently-photographed areas, we headed to the “middle falls” and spent some time there – it’s the first time I’ve photographed that part of Somersby Falls, but it certainly won’t be the last. It’s a little harder to get to, and so that’s likely the reason it’s not seen or photographed as often.
This rock gave me a focal point and I really like the tight view with the veil of water falls behind it.
This next one is one of my favourites – a 2:1 crop with the ferns and the falls.
The middle falls in all their glory. A beautiful afternoon.

Thanks for looking!
