I was browsing through my raw files from the Kimberley’s, trying to find any I hadn’t finished processing yet, and came across this nightscape that I hadn’t finished. What a score! I thought I’d finished all the nightscapes from the Kimberley’s 🙂
This is a single frame from a star trails image, with the Southern Cross hanging over the Bungle Bungles.
I used a Canon 40D, 17-40mm lens @ 17mm, f/4.0, 60s exposure, ISO1000.
I guess this image shows that even with a 40D at ISO1000 and a f/4 lens, you can still capture nightscapes when there’s a nice moon lighting up the foreground and a nice dark sky like out in the Kimberley’s 🙂
Thanks for looking.
