Ken Duncan and I were camped out on a ledge overlooking the stunning Mitchell Falls, with the roaring sound of the waterfall echoing in our ears and the beautiful display completely visible even at midnight thanks to a very bright almost full Moon. This timelapse of a clouded Comet Lovejoy was taken this morning, 24th December from just after 2am until about 4:30am.
I was there with my friends Andrew and Rod, and the cloud continued to tease us and never fully revealed the comet. It just sat right over the wrong spot! Very frustrating. But the timelapse turned out great 🙂 Continue reading
