Vote in the IceInSpace Calendar Competition!

Any regular readers will know that Astronomy is my other passion, and IceInSpace is the amateur astronomy community website that I founded back in 2004. It’s now the biggest and most active amateur astronomy community in the Southern Hemisphere.

Every year we run a competition to find and choose a set of images to appear in the IceInSpace Astronomy Calendar. IceInSpace members submit their images, myself and David from Astrovisuals select a shortlist in each category, and then open it up to the community to vote for their favourites. The winners will then appear in the calendar.

For the 2014 IceInSpace Astronomy Calendar, we’re up to the voting process – and it’s almost finished. Voting closes on Saturday evening.

Just by voting you go in the draw to win 5 free calendars (valued at $100). So you’ve got nothing to lose – be inspired and pick your favourites from the absolutely amazing photography.
